Oliver Adams are proud to support the Cynthia Spencer Hospice
From April 07 to April 08 we have raised over £ 5000.00.
Cynthia Spencer Hospice has a 20-bed in patient unit with Specialist
Palliative Care teams providing vital practical and emotional support for people
living with terminal illness, their families and carers both at the hospice and in the community.

Company Chairman Phillip Adams is a Trustee of the Cynthia Spencer Hospice Charitable Trust and
Oliver Adams Ltd. has supported fund-raising for the hospice since its inception.
Our Cash & Carry shop on Gladstone Road Northampton has been supporting the Cynthia Spencer Hospice over the past years.
The Hospice collecting boxes are being emptied regularly and have raised over £ 200.00 this year (January/April 2008)

Oliver Adams Ltd. is also supporting the Motor Neurone Disease Association by collecting used mobiles phones.
The MND Association is the only organisation in this country dedicated to supporting people living with MND and
to investing in essential research into causes, treatments and ultimately a cure.
Each mobile phone received will generate sufficient funds to cover the cost of at least one call to the MND Association Helpline.

Three of the office staff, Janice, Jo & Razia put their best feet forward to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
They completed a six mile walk for the "Walk Wonders" event on 18th May 2008. Around 1,500 people joined the walk completing
either the 3 mile route or 6 mile route around the grounds of the Spencer family estate at Althorp.
The intrepid three raised £ 177 between them for this wonderful charity.
Five members of staff completed the walk in 2009 raising over £200 for the charity.
April 2010 - Only Razia completed the "Walk Wonders" event this year, rasing over £70 for the MacMillian charity.
Janice completed 7 miles around Pitsford for the Air Ambulance but only raised £20 as it was a late decision to enter.

Jumping for charity Spring 2006. A number of Oliver Adams employees completed a Tandem Parachute jump for the Alzheimer's Charity, raising over £ 1000.00
A very worthy cause and a very brave (or foolhardy) crew.

An Oliver Adams team took the plunge to raise money for charity in a Dragon Boat race.
The Northampton Rotary Club who organised the event, raise money for various charities.
A total of 36 teams entered the race in 2004 raising over £ 25000.00 for the Cynthia Spencer Hospice appeal.
Oliver Adams received a special cup in recognition of collecting the largest amount of money towards sponsorship.

We completed another Dragon Boat Race in 2005, raising over £ 500.00 for local charities.
We took refuge in the beer tent when we were not on the water - only because it was drier

Seventeen hardy employees also completed an ABSEIL. It was very nerve racking but worth it as we raised over £ 3000.00 for the BRITISH RED CROSS -
Although it was a beautiful day with a lovely blue sky, we were all VERY cold by the time we finished.
